Stayed at the Scandic Odense, during a business conference in the city. The room was not very large and the bed was small, but that is not uncommon I Denmark. But it was clean and well equipped. The breakfast next morning was very nice with lots of different hot and cold items, lovely and just what I needed.
All in all very fine, but on the evening we went for a drink in the hotel bar. We were well behaved and tried to get the bartenders attention several times without any luck. He just kept serving other customers who had arrived after us. That is very rude and not suitable for a hotel bar. A very disappointed finish, to a nice stay.

Me and my girlfriend went to Fyn on a cycle holiday for a few days. We stayed in Odense and did day trips in the different directions. The cycle routes are well marked once you get outside town, but can be abit tricky to find at first.

This hotel is located right by the highway, you definately need a car to stay here to be able to get around easily. The parking is free which is not the case with the more central hotels.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very helpful, they even gave us a conference room to store our racing cycles in during our stay.

The breakfast is excellent, as it usually is at Scandic. Alot of healthy food, as well as the ordinary stuff.

Very nice sauna area, and a small exercise room.

The only disapointment was the cleaning service. The rooms was nice when we arrived, but they didn't do much about it during our stay. And they could use a crash course in how to make a bed. We did let the hotel staff know about this and it seemed they had summer workers doing the room cleaning during our stay. It could very well be that it is usually better but that I cannot answer for.
