While the hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are VERY small. The hotel is located very close to two main roads, with LOTS of traffic, day and night. If you get a room facing the road you should bring earplugs, otherwise, it can be hard to get a good nights sleep.
The area near Odense Å, is beautiful, visit the Zoo or take a canaltour from Zoo to the city center.
Free internet is a big plus!

I am using the Best Western Hotel Knudsens Gaard as a base of operations for a 3 month business stay in Odense. Though not centrally located to the old town center, it is still convient enough if you have transportation. They have 2 types of rooms; one type in the old converted farm house buildings which are very tiny and quaint. The other rooms are in a more modern setting with much more ample sitting areas and bath ammenities. They have a nice restraunt with a good European style breakfast and FABULOUS dinner offerings. You will definately get good sleep here while putting on a few kilo's during your stay. Warm and friendly staff .... even to my American taste.
