- Old style, must be renovated! Old equipment, stains on walls, moldy air....
- WLAN Internet does not work above lounge
- High price (I would have paid the same at Hilton or Marriot)

Good location and free parking (whe available), free wireless internet and coffee.
Rooms too small to be suitable for babies and no minibar/fridge.
A lot of traffic outside that causes noice.
Small but nice bar, I recommend you to try aleno 16 from a local brewery.
Breakfast buffet was ok, avarage with scandinavian measures.
Did not try the dinner buffe (200dk/person), felt it was a bit expensive.

Hotel was a short walk from the train station. Room was incredible and in a great location. Decorations were unique ranging from glass swans on the coffee table to unique vases.
Service was excellent. We hated to leave. Only complaint was the rock concert in the park next to the hotel went on until 11 pm

The Plaza Hotel is slightly old fashioned and perhaps increasingly in need of a refurbishment but the room we had (103) was nice and clean and the staff friendly - however very young (perhaps due to the summer holidays and the use of holiday replacements) and seemingly inexperienced. E.g. my wife found it difficult to borrow an umbrella when she wanted to go outside for a cigarette. On a 4 star hotel, this should not be an issue, and perhaps it would not be unreasonable to expect a shelter set up for the smoking guests. But that is of course also a principal business policy matter.

Our room was facing the railroad station and a large bypassing road which caused some noise, however nothing that prevented us from having a good nights sleep.

If you are looking for a stay in central Odense, the hotel is perfectly situated near the shopping areas and only 5 mins. away from the railroad station.
