The Odense congress hotel is minded for business, or at least the attitude at the daytime staff is not for "normal" visitors.
We came around 14 oclock, and the receptionist had a very snobbish attitude when we came, and we both thought that we did not feel welcome at this hotel.
But that changed at night when the receptionist at this time was very helpful and polite and she gave a 5 star service.
The breakfast "buffet" was very poor, and there was not even close to half of what selection you could expect from a 4 star hotel.
The weather was very good, but there was no outdoor serving at the bar/restaurant.
The room was big, and had to sitting chairs and a table chair. There was no minibar at the room, and the shower was not clean/white from the chalk in the water.
The is a flatscreen tv aprox. 22" but it had not the programs that the flyer at the room said it should have.
The location is close to a big mall, the city and the highway.
All together we can not recommend to anybody else, then people who like to say that they stayed at a 4 star hotel, and dont care if the standard is only 3 star at its maximum.

The hotel was very convenient for the business I was visiting but the room was very basic and not good value for money.

My family and I have just returned from a driving holiday in Denmark & Sweden. On 15Jun, at around 8:30pm, I telephoned Odense Congress Centre to enquire if they have accommodation for my family of 5. The lady who answered (Ms Mette) confirmed she has 1 double & 1 triple room, and quoted a price, which I accepted. I confirmed we'll be arriving in about 1 hour.

We arrived at the Center around 9:15pm. At checkin, I was told by Ms Mette that the 2 rooms were still available but the price has increased by 400Kr. She refused to honour the price she quoted to me just 1 hour ago. I told her that this is very unethical, as I had driven specially to her hotel based on her word. Ms Mette refused to change her mind. When I demanded to see the manager, she said he was not on the premises. Without a word of apology, she just handed me his name card, and told me that I can complain to him.

Of course, I refused to pay the extra price. She offered no assistance to find alternative accomodation. I had to find another hotel myself, with my family anxiously looking on, very tired.

I would like an explanation from the Center Management about this unethical business practice. In the 15 days of travelling in Denmark & Sweden, I have never received such treatment from any hotel, except at this Centre.
