This is a nice hotel, BUT it is important to know that they charge extra to use the internet; a lot extra. In addition, if you would like to use the treadmill or other facilities, that will cost you quite a bit extra, too. The room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast that is included in the cost of your room was good.

A topical dancing festival and some business staff brought me the previous weekend in larissa...
starting find a place to stay, even was the first time that i was visiting the town , wasn't such a big deal cause larissa provides a good amount of hotels and rooms,but to find a nice place to stay seems to be a bit hard and that's why most of the hotels were 2 or 3 stars....and not providing enough information through the internet makes you difficult to choose....
Divani palace was the one of the two 5 stars hotel, but its location (exactly in the center of the town)make me to choose that for mine and my girlfriend's accomondation .......
the hotel does not provide parking place,only for let and pick up the luggages but it was not such a problem because a few meters away .beside the small old theatre was enough space to let safe our car.... when we arrive they had arrange to give us a twin bed but saying that we need a double bed they show as an other room as well and they tell us to choose...
the non smoking room in the fifth floor was very very good and well equippted including a very big private veranda....
the bathroom was big and clean with smart designed(makes me often miss my girlfriend) ....
also in the check in i was given a lan cable to access my laptop with internet connection in the room ,sthing that was free of charge , unlimmited and high speed.... helps me to be on contact with my business staff...
unfortunatelly we didn't make it to have breakfast because we were both days out of time as well as we didn't use the spa facilities....i hope next time....
having travel a lot and with larissa not being sthing really special,divani palace makes our weekend holiday lovely.....
the best thing came at the end when i asked for a late check out.....the manager give as a free late check out so we didn't have to wake up very early, and i have to thank very much him for that......and all the staff that was so kind(giota , kostas and the others.........
we were given and a very good rate that for sure worths what we took...
my only complain was that the maids didn't clean both days the dirty veranda ,place that me and my girlfriend love to stay.......

Recently I have visited Larissa during the carnival weekend and I went direclty to Divani Palace, because I had the information that it was the best hotel downtown. With my companion we asked for a double room and the receptionist told us that there was availability. We informed him that we wanted the room for one night and probably for the next and he had no objection at all.

The room was clean and warm, decorated with good taste, although it was a bit small. The breakfast buffet was also sufficient. In any case, the hotel can not be rated with 5 stars. But the attitude of the stuff was at least rude. The next morning we informed them that we wanted to keep the room for another night and we were informed that we had to go immediately, because our room was already booked! They threw us literally to the streets, although they had never mentioned that the room was booked for the next night. I understand that the weekend was hot season for the town, because of the carnical feasts, but such a behaviour is not accepted for a hotel that claims to be high rated.
