Apartments were very basic but this is the norm for self catering places in Greece. People that moan about the lack of facilities obviously haven't been to Greece before and don't know what to expect. In our apartment we had enough to make a cup of tea and a couple of pots for basic cooking although we ate out every night. There was also the bonus of free air con! Wireless internet cost €8 for your stay. The Olympic brochure said there was a poolside bar. This in fact turned out to be a fridge in reception, which was always fully stocked.

Rooms cleaned every day and I seem to remember that we received clean towels every other day. Pool area was clean and very quiet. Just one note on the pool if you take children you will be told the pool is close between 1500 and 1730 for siesta time. You can still go in the pool but your expected to keep the noise down. The location was ideal, far enough away from town not to be troubled by the noise but close enough to walk in every night. If you have a room at the front of the complex you may get disturbed by light traffic on the road. As it was a Greek holiday it was busy and there were a few nights where people coming in late caused a bit of noise.

we have just returned from a week at The Sunrise Village Apartments, dont hesitate this is a great place to stay, staff friendly, great pool, rooms cleaned daily, the staff put in a lot of work to keep this in such a great standard.
more than happy to return, conveniently situated 10 mins from the town, which is great as its fairly quiet.
