Me and my wife stayed here for the second time in 3 years and had a great holiday. The location is great, right in the middle of the South coast with easy access to all areas. The studios are really clean and tidy, very smart, and just the right size, and have air con and a safe, they are also very quite at night being 200m back from the road. All have a balcony or patio.

The setting is lovely with very well kept gardens, lovely restaurant (Green Park) serving great food (try the Soutzakakia, its beautiful), a lovely little bar and a very nice pool area with very comfortable loungers. The seating area outside is also very smart.

The family are fantastic, Theo, Alex and Niko make you feel so welcome and are great fun to be around. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Ioannis and MAria are fantastic chefs.

The whole Island has a very relaxing feel to it which is mirrored at Ioannis/Green Park. I would highly recommend staying here, we will definetely go back. Of all the places we have been in Greece this is the place we have enjoyed the most.

A lovely holiday in lovely surroundings.

We stayed in early May 2009, myself, my husband and 4 year old son. Our room was upstairs and next to the bar. We used to get back home around 9 - 9.30 each evening and once our little boy had gone to sleep, sit on the balcony having a drink.
The music was quite loud so we almost felt as if we were in the bar, also having the security of not leaving our son alone.
A few people have commented on how loud the music was, but when we did go to bed, the music was still loud, but to be honest, my view is if you're tired you'll go to sleep whatever the noise, and it never woke our son.
The owners seemed pleasant enough we never had any complaints, lunch was very slow one day but that's just the way things are in Greece.
We ate at Jimmy's at the top of the drive to Ioannis a lot as the 2 chaps there were fantistic with kids, their ice-creams were amazing!
The room was quite cramped (3 single beds all pushed together), would definitely prefer to pay more for a one bed apartment, although you're only sleeping there so it's not that much of a problem.
Swimming pool was very cold but it had only just been filled and was early season, we spent most days at the beach anyway which was lovely and about 5-10 minutes walk (15-20 with slow walking children!).
Definitely go back again.

We love Skiathos. So much so we have been 4 Times in the past 5 years. Also going back in June this year. Each time we have stayed at the Green Park studios. It;s a lovely relaxing peaceful place that is only 5 mins from the lovely Paraskevi beach. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The Green park restaurant is well worth a visit if your visiting skiathos. The food is fantastic, with large portions and very good value for money. It has a small pool which to be honest we have never used as we prefer to go to the beach. The family that run the apartments are all lovely friendly people. The father is the chef who cooks the fantastic food. The mother works from dawn till dusk keeping the place tidy and two of the sons look after the day to day running, including serving the bar and food. When you fancy something different in the evening their are a few tavernas nearby which also serve very good food, including the platanias on the main road. For even more choice you can easily get to the main town by bus or taxi. However do be prepared to be squashed on the buses in the early evening, especially in high season. Bus costs 1.25 euros and takes approx 10 mins. Taxis cost 8 euros. Word of warning it is normal for the taxis to stop and pick of extra passengers if there is room in the car and they still charge full price !! Personally I don't have a problem with this as they can only really make any money during the holiday season. skiathos town can get very busy in the high season with many different nationalaties including Greeks, Italians and Scandanavians. It is well worth visiting the town harbour to take a look at the beautiful yachts. Best boat trip we have taken is the Catamaran Fantastic lazy day out at sea.
The Green Park / Ioannis apartmens used to be park of First choice, however they are no longer with First choice so you have to book direct. They do have a website so check out www.greenpark-skiathos.gr you can contact them through the website. To book you will need to arrange a bank transfer in euros for 50 percent of the holiday cost. I found this very straight forward, just ring your bank and they will advise you. I would reccomend staying here. Can't wait to go back in June...

As a family we have may great holidays in Skiathos. We stayed at the Ioannis Apatments in Aug 09, and found the to be poor, they are very small , shappyand in need of updating .The room was right next to the bar which could be a problem during the night. we made the most our holiday but would not stay at the Ioannis again
