Our little family had the pleasure of spending the last week at the Mistral hotel.
We were looking for a highly ranked place and were thrilled to discover that Mistral lives up to its well deserved number 1 spot.
Jenny's personal touch combines with Theo's exquisite cooking made our trip everything we wanted and more.
Mistral is one of the most welcoming establishments, that makes even rainy days in Hydra a fun experience.
We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends, and try to make it back as soon as possible.

Hydra a incredibly beautiful island with no cars, just the noise of the donkeys and the boats.

garden with the smell of all kinds of basil
Theo and Jenny are extremely nice, friendly and helpful.
The breakfast, which was served in the garden, was excellent and everything
is daily freshley prepared by Theo.

If you want go to Hydra: STAY AT MISTRAL

We stayed here for my husband's birthday in May. He was greeted as the birthday boy and we were given a comfy room with nice views and a wonderful breeze through the large window. This was such a relaxing stay. Everyone we met at the desk was extremely helpful with recommendations and always had a welcoming smile. The breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was almost the highlight of the day. Just ask for directions from the port. The way winds around, but it is not far or hard. We hope to return soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely family run hotel. It is a short 5 min walk to the port down pretty cobble stone lanes. The family really make you feel at home. We would love to return one day.
