“Expecting more than you see, but you will not receive!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

very beautiful hotel, but unfortunately with no comfort. The personal staff was unprofessional, they were not ready to help you. We took the honeymoon suite, it was with 2 single mattresses and 2 single blankets, the water was cold, and when we asked for a double blanket they told us THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE!! breakfast was poor and cold, i f you want eggs, you have to order them and pay them! Very noisy the rooms. It is a 4 star hotel, but i will say max 2! really terrible

Room Tip: all of them they are noisy.

“Nice decor, noisy room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

I spent 2 nights recently at the Primarolia hotel in Patras.
The good:
Very good location close to the city center and all bars, cafes, & restaurants.
The breakfast was nice although I did not see any hot items, but that might have been because I was late.
The bad:
My room was on the 1st floor at the back side of the building over a busy road and the noise from the lobby area and the elevator plus the traffic almost kept me up all night.

Being an art hotel the decor is very nice and smart.

I would only recommend this hotel if you are sure that you will get a room on the third floor and at the front side of the hotel facing the sea.

“Island of Beauty in a Bustling Port”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

Primarolia is a boutique hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and service areas. The character of each suite is complimented stylishly with paintings, sculpture, light fittings and soft furnishings. Walking around the hotel, waiting in the lobby, or having breakfast becomes an occasion. The hosts are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about local transport and attractions. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the local train station and main line bus stop, the port and ferries to the Ionian islands, as well as the local bus station for trips to the Greek mainland. With our hosts help, we managed to arrange all our travels, using local services. While Primarolia is on the very busy and noisy thoroughfare that makes it so central, once you close the door to your suit, it is a quiet, beautiful retreat. It was a great stay. The rooms & bathrooms were clean.

Room Tip: The rooms either face the sea or inland, so if a sea view is important to you - ask for one.

“This is our second stay and we will definitely visit again when in Patras next”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Service is outstanding. The breakfast is good enough - you really don't need to go past a bowl of Greek yoghurt and a coffee! Rooms are clean and unique.

Room Tip: We stayed in Butterflies and Mushrooms. Both were very good - they were not on the harbour side but...

“The meaning of boutique hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

We are couple and had 2 nights accommodation in primarolia hotel this summer!
We felt the hospitality from the first step.
Decoration was very arty and stylish,
People were pleasant in professional way but really interesting.
Breakfast needs some extras but everything was fresh and homemade!
Close everywhere you want visit(city, port, nightlife area)
We recommend next time you visit Patra stay at primarolia hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for the sea view rooms!
