We stayed here in August 2007, Pina had stayed here earlier in July this same year. We wanted a place "a little of the beaten path" near the Aigio/Patras area. The location of this hotel, in Selianitaka, was perfect for us. about 6 klm west of Aigio, and 35 klms or so east of Patras.
The hotel consists of the main structure, with pool/lounge area adjacent, and a resteraunt just across the road directly on the beach. The area itself is very nice and typical of small, greek beach villages/communities...not overbuilt, but with enough around to offer everything you could want. The whole operation is family run and owned, with Father and sons doing the bulk of the hosting. We partyed with Yanni and Vassilli, two of the three sons, and felt very well taken care of. The scenery and area itself is simply breathtaking (as is most of the costal region of Greece in this area) and the "feel" of this small villiage was welcoming and relaxing. The main Plaka is just a minute walk down the road, with tons of waterfront resteraunts to choose from. Don't forget to sample the hotels waterfront food as well, especially their Greek salad, stuffed beeftecky and especially the pumpkin pastry pie (trust me on this last one...not a dessert , more like a side dish,...very yummy!) Also, make sure to see Petro at the pool bar any time after 12Pm until late at night...lots of fun, and he makes a Worl"ss" Black Russian
