We stayed at the remezzo in August and was not dissapointed. The hotel is situated on a very quiet street just 5 mins from the front.
we had a lovely view from our room looking over the roof tops into the harbour. This was our third visit to pythagorio if you like boats and tavernas and lovely scenery then you would enjoy it very much.
We booked over the internet and got a very quick response.
Lia and Vangelis who are the owners of the hotel are the nicest people you should wish to meet and do a very good job in running the hotel with hardly any help at all.
We caught a taxi from the airport which cost nearly 9 euros which isn't bad considering it cost us 15 euros 2 years ago.
We used the town beach nearest to the hotel if you use the beach where the bars are the sunbeds are free but further on it cost 5euros there is a little van what serves drinks and food and they even do a barbecue some times.
We walked to the next village on called Ireon which is quite along way off but we went the beach way and paddled in the sea on the way it was 40 degrees so you can imagine how hot it was. Ireon itself is a lovely place with a nice beach and plenty of tavernas
Another place we walked to was Chora which is a village inland there a a few tavernas on the main road but if you take the time to go up the back streets there are some lovely winding narrow streets and houses where people live we also found it easy to get a taxi back which cost us 5 euros.
Pythagorio is quite a hilly place so its not suitable for people with walking difficulties but all different age groups go but no rowdy groups. Will be back again next year!
