“clean and well kept nothing was too much trouble”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

Stayed here for 1 week the 16th June. Hotel was very clean and any problems were sorted immediately. Note if you plan to stay in hotel other than July or August Thomson do not pay for air con so worth considerating when booking, must say we had a very hot week and the hotel were very good and gave us a fan to use free of charge.
We were in room 310 which is on the end overlooking mountains and gardens and too the side you can see the pool which agin was very cklean and well looked after. The bar man Crisos was lovely and opened the bar from nine till the last person left around 1am, at night the bar looked lovely with candles and lights. Only moan is that some ex pats used the bar during some of the days and got very load after a few drinks, must say most of them were gone by 6pm though. Samos Town not the best place to stay on the island as we found out when we hired a car. Having stayed at KOS, MYKANOS AND SKIATHOS TOWN in the pass I was expecting Samos to be the same., it is'nt it is very much a town and does not feel touristy at all. We were also the only Brits in our hotel so all in all felt a litlle isolated. If and when we go back plan to stay in kokarri a lovely resort about 10km away from Samos Town.

Room Tip: 310 and 311

“PEOPLE MOAN UNNECESSARILY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

I am a Travel Agent and believe in being totally honest about where I have stayed be it good or bad. On arrivial at the Paradise the first impression is a little negative
as you approach it sideways on directly from a road. The pathway through the garden
was a little unkept but then the temperature was touching the high 30's and the scorched grass gave that untidy feel to the place. Once inside we were met by an extremely friendly receptionist who quickly checked us in and showed us to our rooms. The hotel did appear a little dark in places but this was purely because the lights in the corridors were never switched on - but there was nothing to stop us from pressing the
switch ourselves. All of the rooms are of typical Greek style - basic twin beds,
wardrobe, dressing table and bathroom and balcony. Our rooms were clean daily
and fresh towels provided. The balconies had furniture on them to sit out on and enjoy the scents of the trees and shrubs below. The hotel has a nice pools area with bar/snack bar and sunbeds. Christos to barman is actually very nice if you take the
trouble to talk to him. Breakfast for me was ok but very basic - it consists of
three types of basic cereal, ham and cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, toast/bread
and jam, tea coffee and orange juice. By the end of the week it became a little
tiresome but remember you are in a foreign country and this is what they eat.
All staff were extremely friendly at all times and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel, although situation off a side street is very close to the centre of Samos Town
where you will find plently of restaurants, bars and shops. Hire a moped and take in the whole Island - its a beautiful Isand so green and mountainous. If you take the day trip to Turkey BEWARE of what you can bring back into Greece - they are very strick on
what you can bring in yet the Turks are telling you you can bring practically anything in. I brought the eqivalent of 1kg of Golden Virginia but on arrival into Greece the limit
was 50g so most of my tobacco was taken from me. That which I was allowed to keep turned of to fake - so take care. If you don't like being hastled or pestered stay well
away from Kusadasi!! Back to the hotel - it suited our needs to the letter and I would certainly return again

We stay this hotel in september 2009. We´ve trvelled ( with my wife) about 30 time in different part of southern Europe. This hotel was a huge dissappointment to us. The rooms were unpleasant and the staff were unfriendly. In generel people in greece are very kindly to tourist ( rhodos, kos, crete) but not now in samos and hotel paradise. The environtment was dirty.
I hope this help someone to change his/her decision about the hotel.

“Total R & R”

This was a last minute decision to have a holiday this year and we were so pleased that we chose the Paradise Hotel. It was a great atmosphere around the bar with Cristos the barman,he was simply brilliant. The Hotel was spotlessly clean and everyone works really hard. We would definately recommend this Hotel for it's friendliness, cleanliness and its situated close to all the amenities, but quiet enough not to be noisy.

“looking for something more”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

The pool area was the best part of the entire stay. The room had enough beds, but they were not comfortable. They told me they had air conditioning, but after we booked the room apologized with the comment, "Oh, but we can't run it until July!" what?! If you say you have something, please let me use it! We slept with the windows open, which let in some gnats and mosquitoes. Staff started out friendly. They asked us to leave before check-out time "because other people needed the room."
