We booked last minute having been to Molyvos over 8 years ago and stayed out of town. This is much closer to town, a lovely quiet,,two storey stone built hotel with a nice garden, small pool and great atmosphere. Ony down side was our room had no balcony and the hotel was full so could not swap. So I would check beforehand if you want one. The breakfast is fresh bread, cold meat, cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, jam and some sort of cake with orange juice tea and coffee. We thought that was adequate. There are plenty of places to eat out later on in the day. It is on a small side road which we did not find at all noisy just a few bikes, vans cars not the M1 by any stretch. It was quite peaceful and relaxing and the staff are nice. They are there if you need them not overbearing. I love Molyvos although girls be aware that the cobbled streets, steep inclines and uneven surfaces are no place for heals and platforms unless you are willing to struggle and risk a broken ankle. It's quite a climb up to the castle and the bars up there, but downhill to the charming harbour with good restaurants, a great atmosphere and friendly surroundings. We went on the sunset cruise, which set off at 6pm (a bit early we thought as we ended up sitting waiting for ages till the sun set just after 8.30 pm). Not sure I would pick that one again. We won't leave it too long before we go back again and would choose this hotel. The dog is lovely too and we never saw any dog mess while we were there. The taxi drivers were on strike all week but the hotels got us to and from the airport with no hitches. A great week
