I have arrived back in London after a TERRIBLE stay at this hotel. The location of the hotel is right next to the bus station which is great for travel but apart from that there isnt anything nice I can say about this hotel.

The room on entry looks pleasant enough but on closer inspection you will notice the shower is dirty, the bathroom ceiling is cracked and filthy, there are stains on the pillows and bed sheets and the toilets are disgusting.

The rooms are very close together and you can hear all of the guests in the room next to you, opposite you and above you. I can't say I enjoyed listening to the person walking around in high heels ALL NIGHT!

You might be interested to know that the balcony has a lovely view of the main road and a petrol station which is directly opposite and also has an active array of women 'working the streets' outside the hotel all night- read between the lines!

We requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room despite booking and paying for the rooms in advance. When raising the issue, the staff were rude and unhelpful, they would not change our rooms and frankly didn't care. A small tip- if you go on a weekend day you can forget speaking to a manager as 'he' only works Mon-Fri and there isn't anyone senior to deal with complaints or problems. We spoke to different reception staff at different times and all of the reception staff were abrupt and spoke to us like we were worthless.

The hotel REFUSED to let us check out telling us we would not have a refund even though we were really unhappy with the room. We explained that we would be leaving anyway and asked for an invoice for the room we had the previous night but we were refused an invoice or receipt which we thought was highly unprofessional.

If you would like a tip- try and book a hotel near Aristotelous Square- this is a much more pleasant part of town and if you are prepared to pay a bit more book the Bristol Hotel- the staff are lovely and professional and ensured we had a lovely stay.

Don't be fooled by the website- the Hotel Rotonda is awful!!

Me and my family stay in Hotel Rotonda few weeks ago. It is very nice hotel, rooms are space and clear, with new towels and sheets. Every room have safe deposit box, free we-fi and the air condition. Everything is free of charge. The staff was very helpful. Hotel is on the good location, very close to the city center, across the train station. You can go to the center by foot ( around 20 min.), or you can take a taxi, that isn't very expensive.
They serve a buffet breakfast and it is very nice.
You only can have a problem if you coming by car, because the hotel parking is not so big, but you can park on a street.
All at once, is a good value for money hotel.

I stayed here 1 week whilst travelling in Northern Greece. The location is good - ok its not right in the centre but is an easy 20 min walk to Plateia Aristotelous (or a short bus ride) and is a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a bus stop (to go to the KTEL for regional buses around the country) that is diagonally opposite the hotel.
The staff are very plesant and helpful and go to great lengths to assist.
The breakfast is very satisfying and there is a large selection to choose from.
The room that i stayed in was on the top floor and was very comfortable, with a balcony, airconditioning.
I would stay here again and recommend to others.
