Me and my family stay in Hotel Rotonda few weeks ago. It is very nice hotel, rooms are space and clear, with new towels and sheets. Every room have safe deposit box, free we-fi and the air condition. Everything is free of charge. The staff was very helpful. Hotel is on the good location, very close to the city center, across the train station. You can go to the center by foot ( around 20 min.), or you can take a taxi, that isn't very expensive.
They serve a buffet breakfast and it is very nice.
You only can have a problem if you coming by car, because the hotel parking is not so big, but you can park on a street.
All at once, is a good value for money hotel.

I stayed here 1 week whilst travelling in Northern Greece. The location is good - ok its not right in the centre but is an easy 20 min walk to Plateia Aristotelous (or a short bus ride) and is a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a bus stop (to go to the KTEL for regional buses around the country) that is diagonally opposite the hotel.
The staff are very plesant and helpful and go to great lengths to assist.
The breakfast is very satisfying and there is a large selection to choose from.
The room that i stayed in was on the top floor and was very comfortable, with a balcony, airconditioning.
I would stay here again and recommend to others.

The value for money is perfect. Air conditioned rooms is something you need badly in the noisy city of Thessaloniki. Free wi-fi in all the rooms. New towels and clean fresh sheets. Distance to the center is fine - 25 min walking. Nice and spacious balconies.

I arrived late in the evening so I took a cab from the airport. The Hotel's website says a cab is 15-20 euros from the airport. I was charged 30. I'm on a very tight budget (why I picked this hotel) so that was just not ok with me. The receptionist spoke so little english that I actually had to use an app for my phone in order to communicate with him. Now it's daytime (by the way, I'm writing this from my hotel room) and after looking outside, I'm honestly scared to walk outside. I have stayed 2 other places in Greece this trip that have been wonderful and had very helpful staffs. Here, I'm just waiting for my flight out.
About the room. It doesn't suck. But the hostel I stayed in the last few days was better, had cleaner beds, prettier, and with a more helpful staff. The noise level from the room (on the 5th floor) is insane. I had to sleep with headphones in. Oh! and the walls are paper thin! I got an unwelcome sound show thanks to the couple next door and their very exciting evening... did I mention that I had to sleep with headphones in?
I won't come back here. I wish I weren't here for another night. I would not recommend this place to anyone that I liked.
