We did not have a reservation when we arrived and just lucked up when we found the Egnatia Palace. The rooms are very well appointed and modern. The bathroom facilities were a welcome relief after a long day on the road! Great to get a good shower in before hitting the streets. The breakfast was much better than most that we have experienced. They put out many things to pick from. The hotel was also very convenient for site seeing.

I found Egnatia Palace my first trip to Thessaloniki this year. I stayed in three previous hotels and was only pleased by the Hyatt, but hated that the Hyatt is 20 minutes from the Center. Egnatia Palace has great rooms and incredible suites, a workout center to rival any hotel experience, and offers a complimentary breakfast buffet so good I actually set my alarm so I wouldn't miss it. It's also literally in the center of town. The staff is great, the rates are cheap, and it's the only hotel I'll book when I go.
