I stayed at the Athina Palace for one night with friends after arriving late at the airport. The hotel is less than 5 mins away by taxi (I wouldn't try to walk it though with luggage). Staff were very helpful and friendly and our rooms were clean and tidy. The third bed in the triple bedroom is a fold-away bed, but the rooms were air-conditioned and contained a fridge and good bathroom and shower facilities. Breakfast consisted of breads, cakes, preserves, omelette, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, honey, juice and tea/coffee. The pool is an excellent way to unwind after a long flight or before travelling and we were told they have both an outdoor and indoor pool. The hotel also provided a complementary shuttle service to the airport which was very useful. Overall a good stop-over/ business hotel, basic, clean, but more of a three star rather than a four star hotel.

We had an early morning flight, and needed a hotel near the airport. This place is only a 5 minute drive away. We turned down a small side road going past a night club, and thought we had missed the turn beause the road started crumbling, but after another 100 metere the hotel complex was on the left. I think most of the rooms are a little small, but we reserved a suite for only 10 euros more and got a huge room by european standards. There is also a fitness facility on site and a restaurant, which is good if you don't have a car because there isn't anything within walking distance. The restaurant has a limited menu however. If you have a car, there is a seaside resort only a 10 minute drive away on the opposite side of the airport with plenty of places to eat. The staff was efficient, the place was clean, and it was a great value. The breakfast was not that great, but there was a cappucino machine.

This hotel is 5 minutes from the airport so excellent if like us you arrived at 2 in the morning. We caught a taxi to the hotel which took us down a small lane by a nightclub so we were worried but what a surprise. The hotel has quite a grand entrance and offers 24 hour check in. We paid £45 for a double room for one night. The rooms were ok in size not much wardrobe space and in typical greek style the bathroom had a shower tray and an attachment but no curtain so it was a little messy. The rooms are modern and well furnished with tv. Our room was on the basement level so their wasn't much light and it was small but this was probably down to our rate. I am sure if you intended to stay longer you would get a better located room. The restaurant looked lovely and so do the photos of the other amenities but unfortunately we didn't have time to experience any.
Staff were very helpful and the location is great for the airport.

There were nine of us traveling together, staying in five different rooms and everyone was happy. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast was a little sparse, but they did have a great coffee machine for making cappucinos which we really enjoyed.
