“Lovely Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

Stayed here with my wife in August for 1 night before we crossed over to Thassos. Overall a lovely hotel with a high standard of service. It was pretty quiet when we were there but we loved this. We had the pool area and beds to ourselves. The rooms were superb, very clean and the maids were so friendly.

It is pretty pricey and I'm not sure I would pay the normal room rate for what it is however we acheived a deal with the advanced booking and overall we were very happy. We would definitely return.

“I am often back to this very special place”

I really love IMARET - a place to recover after a tough business week, a place to experience the miracles of history, the beauties of natural harmony and perfect hospitality. The services provided to the customers are excellent and moreover, they have always been like that in the last four years.

“excellent monument for a visit, but without the appropriate services for staying there.”

Although you will be amazed from the beauty and the aura of this monument, you will soon be dissapointed of the rooms and what they provide. A mini bar with only a variety of waters, which were unexpectadly expensive. Secondly the rooms were very small and quite uncomfortable, not to mention the pillows which were by far the worst that i have ever seen! Imagine that i tried to sleep on the towels! I suppose that the hotel managers should have find a way to put twin beds in some rooms, or even a sofa. Not everyone can sleep with his/her partner! From the other hand the dome rooms were very quite at night, but you should not sleep very late, because the morning light will wake you up by its rising, through a small window up on the dome and there is nothing you can do about it, it's too high to reach and cover it. I realy didn't have a good time. Restricted space and inadequate accomodation. One thing will be unforgetable and that is the experience of the relaxing massage, it was the only thing that deserved its money!

“One of the best hotels ever..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2010

So far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. As I am in touristic business I have been to several countries and stayed in exclusive hotels. Imaret is definitely a very special one among them. The renovation of the building is done in an extraordinary great way. Though the room we stayed was a little bit small (promo deluxe room) all the details in terms of service and atmosphere was amazing. I enjoyed one of the best treatments in the Spa of the hotel. A big compliment to Maria who did the massage.
Very photogenic hotel, great service, great staff, great food...

“Promo room should be offered for single occupancy only”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2010

Spent two nights at Imaret with my girlfriend. We had booked our room through booking.com and had booked a "Promo Double Room". The description is misleading, because the room should be offered for single occupancy only. The size of the room was like a shoebox with a double bed. It was approximately 3m wide by 2.5m and had no bedside tables, because there was no space for such luxuries!
Clearly this room was incompatible to a double room at any hotel standards and should not be offered as such.
Appart from the bad room experience, the hotel is very elegant and luxurious and despite other reviews, we found the hotel staff very polite and efficient. The hamam was OK but nothing to write home about. It is definitely overpiced as most of the services offered at this hotel (e.g, drink prices at the bar).
The food at the restaurant was delicious.
If I ever return to this hotel I would make sure to book a different type of room.
