This was our 7th holiday in St George all at Stars. It is such a relaxing and peaceful place. It is a short walk out from the centre of St George (about 5 - 10 mins walk) which is lovely if you want a peaceful nights sleep. We love it. We have two very young boys who are always made to feel like part of Mila and Kostas own family...they always look after them like their own. The hotel is family run and the family are all lovely, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The food is absolutely fantastic - we ate there every night , after 7 years in the resort and having tried several restaurants we think that Mila cooks by far the best food in the resort! The rooms are simple with the basics needed if you want to attempt cooking for yourselves (which we've never done as the food is such good value). Rooms are very spacious and clean and the sheets and towels changed regularly. the building is set in lovely gardens. There are swings for the kids to play on and the pool is a nice size and although it doesn't have a seperate childrens pool (the shallow end is 0.9m) our 2 and 4 year olds are perfectly happy and safe in it...
We took other family and friends with us this time for the first time, they have already booked to go again in August and are planning to also go back in May of next year.
Bring on August when we return to Stars again!

Our first visit to STARS in Corfu – the best 2 weeks holiday I have ever had. The room was basic but very clean and tidy. Food and drinks were excellent, the owners Kostas and Mela provided an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location, set off the main road and about 10 minutes from the village gave me the peace and quiet that I wanted. I only ate out once because the menu provided at STARS was varied, good value for money and most importantly delicious. The beef Stifado was to die for. You don't need to eat out staying at STARS!! The pool area was kept clean, was very safe and had ample sun loungers and shades. In the evenings Kostas became MC and got all all of the customers involved in games and Karaoke on Saturday nights. His sense of humor was very funny. I was made to feel like a member of the family which made the holiday even better. I would recommend STARS to anyone. I will return next year.

I found this resort nothing like the above reviews, the air conditioning was very expensive, the bed sheets were stained and were not changed during our stay, the swimming pool was unsuitable for non swimmers and young children, Costa was rude and arrogant, unless you were spending money at his bar, has an obvious promblem with single women and children and has no quarmes with expressing it. He thinks nothing of approaching young children and intimidating them.
After a problem was resolved he continually approached our party and was abusive.His picture of events to the rep was completely fictional and we nearly slept there nothing more due to the atmosphere. I would not recomend stars hotel and we will not be returning. The worst holiday ever!!

Just returned after a week at STARS. Was made very welcome by Kostas and Mila, could not have asked for more. The food on site was excellent and good value too. The rooms were fine, we did not attempt to cook for ourselves as we ate out all of the time.

Weather was not so good, but we did manage about 3 good days of sun. No complaints would recommend the STARS and we will return.
