I have been visiting Corfu since 1977 and stayed in various Hotels, but since 2004 have stayed at the BELLAVISTA, PELEKAS BEACH.
DO NOT CONFUSE this Hotel with OTHER BELLAVISTA Hotels, namely the one at KASSIOPI which on some www have Used the Photos of Bellavista Pelekas. Sadly, the KASSIOPI Bellavista has received some Poor Reviews.
Bellavista, PELEKAS BEACH has a Superb, Quiet, Location with Amazing Views.

We are two couples and we decided to go to Bella Vista after reading the positive comments in Trip Advisor. I contacted the owner Sophia, who quoted the prices for the rooms and also confirmed them later via emails; we had few talks on phone as well, and she again stated the price and confirmed our reservation. I requested that she sent us a confirmation via email, as we were at about to wire the deposit. Suddenly, the owner stopped answering my emails. After few weeks of waiting and one reminder, she came back to us stating price more than two times greater than what we were discussing before (and what she confirmed two times). Meanwhile we lost other great possibilities for accommodation.

We were extremely disappointed! This almost ruined our vacation! We never visited the hotel, but friends, be carefull when you make your reservations at Bella vista. You can be suddenly surprised to pay double in the very last moment!

We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Vista. Sofia and her family made us very welcome and we have been praising them highly since we got home. The food, cooked by Sofia's father, was really delicious. Not much variety for vegetarians but the beetroot salad was amazing, the Greek veg stew was lovely and they will make you other things on request.
Very gay friendly which for me is the same as people-friendly, and the guests seemed to be bonded by the overall genuine friendliness of this family run gem. We would definitely like to return.

Excellent location, great beach and a very warm service. You will feel like at home every day, particularly if you have small kids.

Having a rent car is highly recommended, because the sea can be quite cold some days after storms on this side of Corfu. You can actually order a car already at the hotel at a very competitive price.

If you want to experience Greek hospitality and not yet another all-inclusive hotel, if you want to remember the place you traveled to, Bella Vista is your choice!
