Stayed here 4 times now and will be returning in June 2012!!!
The place is spotless and the pool area is absolutely pristine, the pool is also away from the roadside unlike many other complex's in Sidari.
The bar is well stocked with international brands, looking at some previous reviews of people moaning about the bar prices, you people need to get a reality check and stop drinking in the slums!!! 2 euros for a pint of local beer is damn good value to me, and if anyone says its cheaper at the supermarket then ask the supermarket how much it is to use their swimming pool, EXACTLY, THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!!!
Food is very nice, all fresh home cooked to order, not pre-cooked as stated in other reviews.
The family that own this place are fantastic, very welcoming and they really look after you.
Rooms are all very clean with everything you need, cleaned every day except for Sunday. most rooms have a pool view too.
If you want a cheap relaxing holiday this is the place to come, if you want 5 star treatment for the price of 3 star then stay at home and keep moaning about the price of beer!!!

Stayed here with 4 boys as we were travelling through Corfu, wanted 4 nights, we got 4 nights and the owner kindly included air conditioning with the price 55EUROS per person for the FULL 4 nights!

Rooms are very clean, shower is strong and bedroom is joined to studio kitchen which was amazing, all cutlery you want, plates, cups etc.

Pool was very clean and a nice dip at night, sufficient bar at night, pool table and internet access for a small price.

Overall, the stay was made best by the owners and caretakers.

Tip: We stayed in September, good time to visit as sun was still scorching and more availability at hotels so you can haggle! :D

This was my third stay at the Eleni Apartments & we'll definitely keep going back. Apartments are basic with all kitchen appliances & also supply a hairdryer. Eleni is set back from the main road so you don't get the noise, it's very peaceful day & night. Most rooms overlook the pool but all rooms have a nice view. The pool area is very clean with plenty of sunbeds/parasols. The food & drinks at the texas bar are very reasonably priced - the texas burger is fab!
Jimmy & all of his family are really lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Ryan works in the bar in the evening & is good fun - apart from always moaning it's too hot! ;)
The salt & pepper restaurant is very good & only a few minutes walk down the road. The main bars & restaurants ate about 10-15 minutes walk, where you'll find loads of different places to eat & drink.

We travelled as two couples on a late deal through Thompson.

Good points:
Large enough swimming pool with sun loungers for the most part easy to get.
Basic but clean studios with more or less everything you would need to fully self-cater.
Friendly staff, kudos to the lady chef who was was worked off her feet!
Good home cooked food (most of it being UK/American style food - if thats what you like your on to a winner).

Bad points:
Pricey drinks at the bar compared to elsewhere in the area - a 400ml beer was 2.80 euros (the cheaper beer was unavailable all holiday). Most places were 2 euros.
Air conditioning was not included in the Thompson price (we knew this prior to travelling) and it cost 7 euros per day (not bad but some apartments include this).
Very basic single beds that were pushed together.
Sidari & the road to Sidari were not brilliant.

Overall if you like Corfu or Sidari these apartments were good but for our group we would only go to Sidari again if there were no other options. To get to the main strip & beach in Sidari was a 15 to 20 minute walk down a busy road with no foot path - it was loud, felt dangerous and smelt of petrol - these same problems also affected all of the bars and restaurants on this road. It meant a relaxing drink turned into a pain in the neck.

The main strip itself was a combination of loud bars trying to out-do each other and restaurants which were all very similar in terms of price/food and service. None of the restaurants really offered brilliant food/prices or service. The Ark restaurant on the main road was very poor in terms of service, a lot of people were simply leaving because food was taking 40-50 minutes to come out. I don't blame the staff, there were two of them for 30 tables. Not good enough.
