Travelled to these apartments as a late deal through Olympic Holidays.
Arrived at 8am in the morning after a night flight from Manchester, meeting time with Rep was 12pm lunch time same day.
Meet Rep and informed him there was NO hot water coming through the system in the bathroom. He answer let it run, I then informed him the tap had been open for 4 hours and still no hot water. he agreed to look into it.
We asked when the rooms were cleaned he answered once in the week.
The pool area is nice, tidy and clean as are the gardens. The pool has very little if any Chlorine content which was a worry.
The main resort and beach was just 8 to 10 minutes walk. There were 2 little grocery stores on route, the second had the minibank (hole in the wall bank).
There was a good choice of Restaurants (The Balcony was the families fav choice).
After day one sickness and diarrhoea took hold on two of our party. One of the children had an accident (brown stain) on the sheet while asleep. The owner refused point blank to change the sheet, to the point she would not even give us one clean sheet to change it on our own.
The towels issued were one very small hand towels and only one per person and bearing in mind we had no hot water to wash hands with in the bathroom this was now becoming a problem.
The Olympic Rep was NO help at all and as he lived in the same accommodation it was obvious he was not going to rock the boat or support his clients.
The cleaner visited the room once after 4 days, swept the floor and emptyed the stinking bin in the toilet.
NO towels or bedding was changed.
On the last day we made a requested to keep our room as we were not picked up until 2.35am Saturday morning. We were told there would be a 30 euro charge but we would only be able to have the room from 12 lunch time to 8pm evening. There was NO Courtesy available for anyone with late flights. All lights went off in Reception at 2am leaving all travelling guests in the pitch black.
I suggest you avoid this hotel if you value your family's health and hygiene.
Third world standards and none existant customer care from owners or Olympic.

stayed for 2 weeks with 3 children ...had a wonderful time..apartments were spotless .... pool area was wonderful.....food was great and the owners are the nicest people i've ever met....going back 14th june 2010 and meeting other people who stayed the same time as us last year ....cant wait

first trip to st george south and very impressed...unfortunately, due to bad organisation by travel firm ended up in upstairs apartment although they knew my mum was in a wheelchair !!!! helped out by the owner who offered to take sandwiches and a drink up to mum one day when she couldn't face attempting the dreaded stairs twice in one day..eleana and akis, the owners couldn't have been more helpful when we faced difficulties with mum and were always kind and considerate to all our family, especially our 9 year old son.
the accomodation is basic but clean and i would take my own bath towels next time as theirs are hand towels.
the pool area is spotless and the bar service is good....didn't eat there but what we saw looked very nice.
with regard to other people comments about the owners, we observed nothing but a polite hard working couple who tried their best to accomodate their guests but there's no pleasing some people....some customers seem to have forgotten their manners totally, if they ever had any...our mantra is treat people how you would like to be treated and we felt truly at home here...can't wait to go back next may without the wheelchair !!!

Things have been difficult for our friends in Corfu, and English tourists are notoriously awkward and hard to please. Yes, the rooms are basic, yes, the floors are echoey, yes the towels are small........but this is GREECE, and they are SELF CATERING apartments, not a hotel. Bath towels??? Complementary shower gel??? Please....!!!!
Having stayed at Eleana's now for 4 consecutive holidays and having made numerous friends in the resort of St George, we would recommend Eleana Studios to anyone who was wanting to stay in the resort, but not in the thick of things. It is clean and tidy, the pool area is lovely and our family including our 2 boys have always been made very welcome. We have never had a problem getting a room for the last night, and find the night flights great, especially with kids, they sleep the whole time..... and you get an extra day to enjoy, instead of having to travel all of it, some people have no sense of adventure.
I must admit I found it funny hearing Akis described as 'rather frightening' and Eleana as 'rude and abusive'. Neither of them speak good English and struggle to make themselves understood at times. If you are arriving in the middle of the night, it would be considerate to be quiet when you get in, as if you are on a 1st floor there is bound to be someone asleep underneath your room!!! I would have throught that was just good manners!!!
Anyway, back to my review......basic but clean rooms, basic cooking facilities (but who wants to cook on holiday???), fridge, kettle and crockery/cutlery....rooms cleaned, bins emptied on a daily basis and beds changed weekly (come on, who changes theirs any more regularly at home??). Take your own towels, as they only provide hand towels.
Eleana does reasonably priced basic food at the poolside. Be polite to her, she is not a skivvy, she will return it tenfold by looking after you!!!
Great for a family holiday, we are going back in September.
