We enjoyed the beautiful pool in peaceful surroundings - on the edge of the resort with views of the countryside and hills. Rooms were well kept and cleaned twice during our week's stay, including a change of sheets.

The owner does work very hard but can be slightly intimidating and is keen to get you to purchase any extras available, but who can blame her?

We encountered two problems in the resort iin general - mosquitos are a really big problem - please come very prepared, and the only cash machine in the village was permanently out of money.

The local restaurants are all very good, we particularly enjoyed the Seagulls overlooking the bay.

Owners were very pleasant and amenable, don't believe the rubbish written about them! Apartments were basic but what else can you expect? But they were very clean. As for there being no washing up liquid and toiletries, this is an apartment not a five star hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I could not beleive some of the reviews about this place, it is one of the nicest places on Corfu and My family and I have stayed in many. We have just returned from our second holiday to Eleanas, having first visited in 2009, and can honestly say that we had a wonderful holiday, made more so by the staff at these apartments. Eleana and Agis are two of the friendliest people I've met, they are hard working and very accomodating, nothing is ever to much trouble, which is why I cannot understand the attitude of some of the revierwers on this blog.
The apartmens themselves are basic but by greek standards are roomy, clean and comfortable they have adequate essentials e.g. enough utentsils per person, a fridge, a cooker, TV (although it is just Greek TV), air conditioning and large balconies. The rooms are cleaned regularly by the maid and Eleana, who work bloody hard all summer lets not forget. and sheets and towels are changed weekly (remember this is not a hotel so don't expect hotel service).
The pool is clean and has a good kidies section the grounds are immaculate and very pretty, the bar is well stocked and cheap and the food service is very good.
All in all Eleanas is one of the best Apartment complexes in Corfu and Certainly in St Georges South and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a relaxing quite holiday especially couples with youngish children. However if you want to party don't come here as it is not designed for such go to Kavos or Sidari instead.
Oh one more thing, and it is only a very small critisism, I would recommend you bring extra towels as you will only be provided with a small towel per person (as I said before this is not a hotel)

Travelled to these apartments as a late deal through Olympic Holidays.
Arrived at 8am in the morning after a night flight from Manchester, meeting time with Rep was 12pm lunch time same day.
Meet Rep and informed him there was NO hot water coming through the system in the bathroom. He answer let it run, I then informed him the tap had been open for 4 hours and still no hot water. he agreed to look into it.
We asked when the rooms were cleaned he answered once in the week.
The pool area is nice, tidy and clean as are the gardens. The pool has very little if any Chlorine content which was a worry.
The main resort and beach was just 8 to 10 minutes walk. There were 2 little grocery stores on route, the second had the minibank (hole in the wall bank).
There was a good choice of Restaurants (The Balcony was the families fav choice).
After day one sickness and diarrhoea took hold on two of our party. One of the children had an accident (brown stain) on the sheet while asleep. The owner refused point blank to change the sheet, to the point she would not even give us one clean sheet to change it on our own.
The towels issued were one very small hand towels and only one per person and bearing in mind we had no hot water to wash hands with in the bathroom this was now becoming a problem.
The Olympic Rep was NO help at all and as he lived in the same accommodation it was obvious he was not going to rock the boat or support his clients.
The cleaner visited the room once after 4 days, swept the floor and emptyed the stinking bin in the toilet.
NO towels or bedding was changed.
On the last day we made a requested to keep our room as we were not picked up until 2.35am Saturday morning. We were told there would be a 30 euro charge but we would only be able to have the room from 12 lunch time to 8pm evening. There was NO Courtesy available for anyone with late flights. All lights went off in Reception at 2am leaving all travelling guests in the pitch black.
I suggest you avoid this hotel if you value your family's health and hygiene.
Third world standards and none existant customer care from owners or Olympic.
