Chose this hotel because of really good reviews. Excellent in every way - spotlessly clean, lovely room overlooking pool. We couldn't have received better service from a really friendly family. Best breakfast out of all greek holidays and the 5 Senses Restaurant served mouth watering food at reasonable prices. Just a ten minute stroll into Parga Town which was very pretty and prettier still at night. You must go on the little train up to the castle - superb scenery. Tried to book for June next year but Hotel full (speaks for itself). Jackie, the Thomson rep was brilliant. One week not long enough!

Just returned from holiday Sept 2011, spent a week in this great family run little hotel. Very, very clean and very friendly. The resturant the 5 Senses is great, the service, food and wine are first class. 10 min walk to the town and harbour, torch is needed. Parga Town is very pretty the castle all lit up at night is wonderful, sitting on a rooftop bar watching the world go by.

We stayed, along with friends, at the Alfa for a second year and once again had a very enjoyable stay in this excellent, family run hotel. The rooms have a/c , TV, + ( at currently 5 euro p/w each ) fridge and safety deposit box. Rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very unusually for Greece has linen changed daily. We have always found the rooms quiet There is a comprehensive breakfast, normally with bacon, scrambled or fired egg, tomato / baked beans, breads, cheese, ham, cereals, and wonderful greek yoghurt and of course honey. The breakfast is also popular with non-residents ( who are currently charged 6 euro ). The hotel has a very attractive pool area with a small childrens pool, lots of sun beds and some shade - again it is open to non-residents, who can also enjoy the very good quality snack menu available between 12 and 4. The hotel is deservedly popular and has high repeat bookings, often made a year in advance.

We stayed for 2 weeks the end of August to September, we found the Alpha to be everything we wanted! all aspects of the hotel were 1st class! We would have no problem in going back, the rooms were great, the air-con was a absolute joy with the temperature in the 90's everyday and indeed for some days into the 100's.
All the staff were extreemley friendly, and as it is a family run hotel nothing was to much trouble for us. The pool area is great and with a smaller one for children, it was very safe.
We ate in the five sense's restaraunt a couple of times & the food was marvellous, thanks to Dimitri and his staff!
Situated at the rear of the town with just short walk down to the front you were within easy reach of some great taverners, Bacchos is a good one, Rudi's as well, for cocktails try the Blue bar, great view from the balcony, at the spice bar you can a great piece of chocolate cake!! what more could you want!!
