stayed here in may for 2 weeks found the hotel excellent cleanor was very friendly would reccomend anyone go there kefolas is great place all ppl are really friendly going back there this year

We went to Kefalos (Kalonisa) earlier this year for a week with Libra - not expecting anything special, and were very pleasantly surprised. For what we paid, it's excellent. First rate accommodation, very clean, very quiet. We're not fussy eaters and didn't have a bad meal while we were there - ate at a lot of places, drank at more! Good pool at Andreas - everyone very friendly. Rent a car - not expensive - see the island - go on a boat trip. If you're after a rave, or want a rep to look after your every whim, go somewhere else - this isn't for you. But if you want a quiet, relaxing time, it's spot on. Just one bad point - our flight times were anti-social, to say the least. Nevertheless we booked again as soon as we got back, 2 weeks this time. See you in October!

Just come back from a fantastic week in Kefalos. Yes the resort is quite quiet but everyone is so friendly and laid back, so it's the perfect destination for relaxing holiday if that's what you're after. I would highly recommend Kalonisa studios, which are located at the much prettier harbour end of the resort. The apartments were VERY clean and in a great location if you value a good night’s sleep while being only a few minutes walk up from the many tavernas and bars on the beach front and a lovely small sandy beach. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and we will definitely be going back there.

We stayed last year at Kalonisa studios and thought they were very good. The previous post mentioned loo rolls, we have been travelling to studios all over Greece and except for rolls when we arrive (one spare) you usually have to buy your own. It's not big deal - they are very cheap.

I totally disagree with the comments in the other post with regards to poor restuarants in Kefalos, this is the first negative comment I have ever read, you are totally spoilt for choice with GOOD eating places - and Santa Barbara, although good, is certainly not one of the best places. The beach in the main part of the resort is poor I agree, but a short bus ride will take you to some fantastic beaches.

Safety deposit boxes at Kefalos tours - yes maybe a bit of a trek from where you were staying (10 mins walk) but they were free of charge, you would not get that in many places.

Do not be but off Kefalos with these comments, I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion - buit if you are unsure visit Holidays Exposed Kefalos and see all the good comments to be had there. It is a great place to relax and unwind! Heather
