“Lovely hotel right near the beach.”

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights. The lobby is very tastefully decorated & the staff are all very attentive to their guests & knowledgeable of the island. We hired a car for 2 days & checked all the sights that were recommended to us by the staff. John at the bar is wonderful. The rooms are very basic, very clean. Fresh towels each day. Our fridge wasn't working & a new one was brought to us straight away.
The only downside was we had booked a beach view & from our room we caught a small glimpse of the water, but this was blocked by a very unkempt block of land, some rubbish bins & an old shed overgrown by weeds & shrubs. I would have preffered a garden view room.
The breakfast was OK, however the "hot food" was not very hot.

Room Tip: Try for a Garden View - as our Beach View wasn't good at all.

“10 Days in September”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

Lovely hotel, with friendly and efficient staff. The grounds are in town adjacent to neighbouring hotels large and small as well as Agios Georhios beach ( a short 60 second stroll away) but set out so as to feel set apart / secluded. The grounds are lovely and well tended. We had breakfast included. It was great to sit outside at breakfast time but it is the same everyday (American breakfast which guarantees something hot/warm but everyday it was scrambled egg and bacon...an alternating warm dish would have been appreciated). The rooms are hotel rooms so don't go looking for plenty of room to run around in. However they are cleaned everyday, sheets changed everyday, clean towels everyday. NO 'Do Not Disturb' signs here as there is a little light (green / red) which tells the maid if the room is occupied (this is all down to resting your room key in a wall bracket which also activates electrics so you can't leave it on / waste energy when you're out of the room). The bathroom even has a separate light switch for a small ceiling LED red light so you can leave the bathroom door a little ajar with red light on so no having to feel your way to the loo in the dark. It's a quiet hotel too (perhaps down to September visit) but the rooms are well insulated with thick doors and double glazed balcony door. As a relatively exclusive resort hotel there isn't much 'life' to the place but that is all down to who's there at any particular time which added to the 'relax' factor

Room Tip: You will have to pay extra for sea view rooms but these also overlook pool area so everyone can see...

“Naxos Resort was everything we expected and more”

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the hotel. It is clean, well decorated (like an art gallery) beautiful pool area in sight of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was great, had everything eggs, meat, fresh fruit (fresh figs!!!). The hotel staff were really great. Everyone followed up on every committment. Highly recommend.
Naxos Island is like a best kept secret in the Cyclades. Great fresh food, beautiful scenery, valleys mountains, ruins, EVERYTHING! Lots of places to explore both in towns and in country side. I wish we stayed longer.

Room Tip: There are rooms in outbuildings that are not as convenient to the main hotel. while there is nothin...

“Excellent location”

This hotel is pretty perfectly located at the edge of town and near the main beach south of town. It's easy to walk to the harbor, the old kastro, and you are steps from all the tavernas on the beach. It's also very easy to make this a base to rent an ATV/bike and explore further afield, such as Halki inland and the better beaches further south. Accommodations-wise things are clean and nice, though don't be surprised to find twin beds in your double room. We had a nice balcony view over the water and of the sunset. The staff is friendly and the breakfast a decent selection. The move to infinity pools in many of the Greek islands means that the hot tubs no longer have hot water, and the same was true here.

“Fantastic holiday at the Naxos Resort Beach Hotel”

We've just returned from Naxos after spending 2 weeks at this really nice hotel. The accommodation was very good and even though we didn't have a sea view, we had an internal view looking on to the garden. The staff were all extremely polite and welcoming.
Our stay was on a bed and breakfast basis but we sometimes dined at the hotel restaurant which served excellent food and the service was great.
The location of the hotel was convenient as it was both close to the beach and to the Chora. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return very soon.
