This place really depends what you are looking for. I was in a big party so we made our own fun and had corporate entertainment. If you are a coupld looking to chillm its really nice. But the taxi ride into town is too far if you want to go out most nights.

We stayed at this hotel in the begining of September. We booked a couple of days however the weather was a bit too cool to swim. It's a perfect hotel for couples that want to be in a secluded resort. The hotel has it's own private beach just walking distance.

We were looking forward staying in a room with a jacuzzi on our balcony. Just a week prior to our arrival, there was a fire just behind the hotel that had ashes spread all over. We asked the front desk to clean our jacuzzi so we can enjoy it, which was done the following day.

The room was very clean and spacious. Although we had some missing items, the hotel manager rectify the problem the following day. He was quite understanding about the situation.

September is ideal month to visit Royal in Elia if you want to relax..The service of the hotel is top, while the rate guaranteed a real value for money.The room was very spacious, while the jacuzzi was really worth it. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the beach is 5 min walk.This time I enjoyed also the spa treatments that for sure I recommend.

Stayed at the Royal Myconian in July 2011 for 4 nights, and for the price, i expected a less dated room, and one with a proper double bed rather than two singles stuck together. After enquiring about the issue with the concierge it was not until about 12 hours later that the change had been made. I also didn't realise how far the hotel was from Mykonos Town - about 15 minutes bus drive from the airport which made taxi travel virtually impossible and we were completely dependent on the shuttle bus service. What the Royal Myconian excelled in however was its amazing pool and private beach which, while unsupervised, was crystal clear and beautiful!! There is a adjoining restaurant on the pool terrace which I wouldn't recommend for both its poor quality and price - my friend paid 12 EUROS for a toasted sandwich!!! Put simply, the Royal Myconian is a great place if you don't intend on spending too much time in the room but enjoying the beautiful pool and private beach.
