I have been visiting Myconos for the last 15 years, every single year once or twice and I have consluded that IF you choose to stay in the town of the island, Elena is, by far the most convenient place in terms of location and quality of stay: just 2 minutes walking from the public parking area and a breath from the center of the picturesque town of Myconos.
As a starting point, take under consideration that Myconos may be the most expensive island to visit in Greece but worth it: amazing sea side, beach bars, food of high quality, night life, glamour and taste consist some of the reasons to visit this island. The island offer accomodation of high standards either by the beaches or in town. Hotel Elena is a great value for money, with newly furnished rooms (bathrooms need refurnishment), minimal style decorated rooms in a great location. Rooms with balcony offer amazing views of the town and harbour (although a litle bit more expensive try it!) Note that if you pick with hotel you have to make reservaions quite in advance since usually is fully booked. Best part: Amazing Coco Mat beds and nice linens! Area of development: the breakfast. It is not only repeated every day but also ...when paying 200 euros per night we deserve at least fresh milk and fresh juices!

Hotel Elena is near the old town-centre in a quiet location. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.It is though a little bit expensive.

We've stayed at the Elena twice before -this time in a first floor room (212) with town/harbour and sunset views. The service was great as always with airport pick up, complimentary wine and fruit on arrival in the clean and comfortable room. The great thing about this hotel is the friendly staff - the breakfast and cleaning staff together with the amazing location - close to the centre of the bustling and vibrant town but in a quiet area. If you need a pool and a busy bar go to the neighbouring Rochari but for us the Elena is the perfect place to stay.
