“Really nice holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

We stayed ay the Archipelagos in early September 2011 & had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel is lovely, rooms are really clean & comfortable, air conditioning, beds & towels changed every day. All the staff are nice, friendly & helpful, but I would avoid Costas, who is just too slick for my liking, I wouldn't trust him. The pool area is lovely & a good beach is only a couple of hundred yards walk away. There is a courtesy bus from the hotel daily at 12noon & 9pm but you need to get yourself back by bus or taxi. The breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice & served from 8.30 until 11. There are towels provided by the pool.
I must be realistic though, you do need to hire a car to enjoy the holiday properly. The nearest mini mart is a good mile & half walk away up a very steep hill. You do need to get to the supermarket in Ana Mera (3 miles away) as drinks, water etc are very expensive in the mini bar in your room. ie. 4.40 euros for a small can of coke, 2 euros for a small bottle of water... 15 cents in supermarket.!! There are a number of restaurants there too. The hotel restaurant is good value & quality in comparison to others but there is not too much choice if you are staying for 2 weeks. You do need to take your own hairdryer as the one in the bathroom is like those you find in swimming baths. There is no tea or coffee provided in the rooms so a travel kettle would make life easier.
I have quoted good & bad but we had a really lovely relaxing holiday experience & would recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with full sea view.

“Great holiday, yaay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

I`ve been to Hotel Archipelagos in july with my boyfriend and was very very nice. i love it expecially because we had a sea view..but all rooms are with a sea view. The room was cleaned and bright every day around 12-13 o clock. The breackfast was ok and the pool and bar amazing. The barman, Costas is the best and he also became our firend cause he`s a great guy and very kind. You can go to kalo livadi beach which is near the hotel and it`s very good! You should rent a 4 wheeler and the road from the hotel to any place you want will became very easy! then you can visit any beach, club, restaurant from the island.
In the end i will say i`m looking forward to come back and salutiiiiiii for all the hotel personal, especially for Costas!

“We loved it and we will be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

On arrival at Mykonos airport we were collected by Roland who drove us to the hotel and showed us all the sites on the way. The hotel is situated on the most glorious part of Mykonos, the views from our room were spectacular, the hotel is quiet, very clean and has beautiful gardens and the staff, Tonia, Via, Voula and others were more than helpful, there was nothing that was too much trouble for them at any time of the day or night. The hotel bus makes two trips a day into Mykonos town which is about a 15 minute drive. The food was exceptional, always fresh and a great variety of traditional Greek dishes as well as continental cuisine. The pool area is a lovely spot to relax and the beach which is a short walk and I mean short, is just beautiful, crystal clear water and sun beds and drinks and food available in three areas along Kalo Livadi. All in all after travelling through the islands for two months, this hotel came up as our number one for the holiday, don't miss it on your travels. We can't wait to go back next year. “Wonderful hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

We stayed for a week in this hotel in July, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean with a fantastic view. The hotel is within walking distance to a couple of beaches, one being Kalo Livadi which has many umbrellas, sun beds and beach bars, and the other has nothing in comparison if not the same cristal blue sea. We hired a little car to visit the island and the many other beaches; as we like the more isolated ones we strongly recommend Fokos, Panormos and Sostis.
We opted for the evening half board which proved to be a let down, the food was a bit bland and samey. However to compensate there was the fabulous pool bar, Costa who runs it was great company, we spent many evenings chatting with him and other guests and enjoyed his cocktails and choice of music. The free wi-fi was very handy too.

“I wish I knew about this place before!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

I stayed in Mykanos for around 5 nights in various resorts with a freind and I have to say this one definitely was by far the best place I stayed at and If I knew about this place earlier I would have just stayed at the Archipelagos the entire time. If you need somewhere to wind down from all the partying then this resort is perfect, the pool side bar/restaraunt is unique here thats because Kosta does an awesome job at making the best alcoholic mixes in the world and do yourself a favour and let him decide for you what to eat and drink...
absolutely fabulous..I'm definitely going to come back to Mykanos just to stay at this resort again.
