Anna picked us up at the harbour which was very welcome as the apartments are a little further out from the village but its worth the extra distance. The setting is extremely tranquil and peaceful just what we needed to recharge the batteries. It is more expensive to stay here than a lot of the other apartments but we felt it was worth it. Nicos was more that helpful and ensured the apartment was spotless during our stay.The bed was a bit on the firm side. All in all it was clean, nicely decorated and functional. We were very well looked after and will most certainly be back to visit Anna and Nicos. The only negative experience we had on the holiday and not related to our stay in the apartment was our visit to the Italian restaurant Lollas in the villiage, extremely rude staff and was the worst experience endured in any restaurant.

Glaros apartments offers great accomodation and, situated opposite Goulandris island, a beautiful view. The apartments were located a short walk (and even shorter drive) from town, which meant that the surroundings were quiet and picturesque. Glaros combines a Cycladic exterior architecture with classy minimalistic interior. Anna and Nikos were friendly and professional, and Nikos was always on site to offer assistance when needed. My wife and I wanted a stylish but good value accommodation on Antiparos where we could celebrate our wedding anniversary. We are so glad we found Glaros Studio Apartments. They are a wonderful accommodation set just on the edge of town. Anna, the owner, met us as we got off the ferry and took us directly to our room.

She has set high standards for design inside and outside of the rooms. The garden is flourishing well with beautiful flowers and plants. Inside there are really nice touches like miniature alcoves in the wall by the bed where candles can burn romantically. When you open the doors in the morning you can look out onto the sea, or the other way, onto the countryside and town. The town is close enough to walk but far enough away to give a perfect night sleep and not be disturbed by late night noise. By the way, the bed is wonderful with a decent, firm mattress. Anna found out that we were celebrating our anniversary and surprised us with a little gift on that day. She is a wonderful host and you can be sure you will like your stay there.

As for some of the other reviews…. It is surprising that they did not know that mosquitoes are around in Greece. Anna provides an electric plug-in to get rid of them in rooms and our room even had a mosquito net to drape over the bed if you wanted to have the windows open at night. As for dogs on heat, well, what do you expect? It’s their holiday too and maybe they want some romance as well!

These is a lovely accommodation and I guess the only extra amenity she could add would be a wireless internet connection. Everything else is just as we had hoped. Enjoy your stay there.
