My wife and I stayed here for the 2nd time from 22 September until 6 October.

Every member of staff (cleaners, porters, reception, restaurant, gardeners, animation team) was, without exception, polite, helpful and added to the enjoyment we experienced as guests from the moment we checked in until we checked out. We didn't take part in the activities the animation team were always friendly and helpful.

Even using a (very) little Greek seemed to be appreciated and every member of staff was always ready to answer questions even though they were busy. We did have more contact with some members of staff than others and would particularly like to commend Michalis the maitre d’hotel who, although extremely busy, always had time to answer any questions we had. Our regular waitress Thomai was delightful, Georgia on reception was always so helpful and Giannis in the lobby bar was excellent.

The grounds are immaculately maintained.

There was always a good choice of food at every meal - we stayed on an all-inclusive basis.

Some people might be put off by the location of this hotel (approx 3km to Panormo - the nearest village) but the location suited us since we enjoy walking.

All in all we would recommend this hotel and would go back again.

popular with german comunity very busy at pool area lots of towls left on empty loungers too lovely beach cove area which is generally no too busy.. totally ristricted to the resort unless renting a car or taking a bus .. beach ellifontis is worth traveling too!

The hotel has everything for calm vacations. Several beaches, beautiful garden, clean rooms with everything you may need, nice food. It is situated not far from Panormo village, nice place to visit for an hour on the beach or for a dinner in taverna.
Do not believe reviews with complaints to the stuff. I had a very unpleasant story with my car rent company, all people from hotel helped me and gave advice to me. People in the reception were polite even in the middle of the night. I never pay attention to animation teams of hotels, but this time it was not annoying, sometimes intreresting.
Nice hotel for those who want to enjoy their vacations on the beach with all-inclusive. And also for people who travel by car. The hotel is situated in the centre of Crete right near the highway so you can get to every place on Crete maximum in 2 hours.

Just back from a week of bliss. We chose the hotel to celebrate 25 years of marriage. Arrived on Sunday afternoon as the only people to get off the Thomsons bus from the airport. A lovely, friendly greeting at reception and the good news that we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite bungalow with sea view. OK, weather wasn't too good to start with, but as the week went on, we were able to spend more time down on the beach and in the sea.
We were all inclusive and can say that we could always find something to eat at the buffet restaurant, but I would say that I have had more choices at other AI hotels. As part of the package, we had a meal on the Wednesday night in the al a carte restaurant. The food was superb and what a pleasant surprise when the waiter brought out a bottle of fizz and a cake for our anniversary. It made a great evening very special indeed. On Saturday, we had another surprise when my wife got a lovely cake and a bottle of fizz to celebrate her birthday and her face was a picture when the waiters sang her happy birthday.
One downside in the whole week was the land train trip from outside the hotel. Although the places we visted were great, the guide spoke in French only at every place visted, forgetting that we were English and when confronted about this told it was very difficult with a big group, there were 10 in total!
To sum up, a great place to stay for couples who want to be away from it all in a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff.
