The room was for 50 euros, but the lady at the front desk settled for 40. Worth about 10 probably (been to camping places that are cleaner and more pleasant than this room). Yes, the service people were nice but that doesn't compensate for filthy room and bathroom. Sheets and towels had stains.
However, I decided to write this review to let people now that I was severly bitten by bedbugs in that hotel and strongly advise not to stay there, especially since there is a youth hostel 3 min away.

This hotel is located fairly close to the Iraklion Bus Station (near port). I arrived Iraklion due to late ferry arrival putting me in at dark.
Hotel is near Bus Station (as are a number of others).
I would not recommend this place. Especially for the cost of a room, they wanted 50 Euro, but finally settled for 40. It wasn't worth much more than 20. I should have caught some sleep at bus station and saved my money for something else.
Note: Sheets did appear clean and the shower was warm and strong pressure. The bathroom/shower was nasty. Nasty! I am not sure I have ever stayed in a 'flop house' but his might have been one.
I would not recommed to a friend. Enemy, yes. But, I would stay again if absolutely necessary.
It you are stuck, this place is an option. Next time I am catching some z's at the bus station.

We were tired and on our last leg of our trip. Seems more like a spiders web for tired travellers than a hotel as it is very close to the port. Not the most appealing place to stay. Busy traffic outside backed into a small street. Basic room with a not too clean bath. A sheet for the bed which was hard a rock. Aircon was working. Close to the town centre. The staff let us leave our bags for the day before we left late evening. Pleasant staff. Basic, not so clean accommodation. No fringe benefits

We came off the ferry from Santorini late, so we were tired and I had been seasick. We took the first hotel that came along. Unfortunately, that was Kris.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom, and the shower was broken. The floor was filthy, but the bedsheets were clean. I'm glad we only stayed one night; 60 euro was definitely too much for a room for two in that place.

When we went to sleep, we could hear the loud traffic outside. Motorbikes, mostly, but occasionally a plane. Later in the night, we heard a couple come into the room above us, and later we heard moaning and screaming. I.e. you can hear everything that goes on in the room above you.

Its only good point is that it is near the harbour and the clean sheets I mentioned.
