Just came back from this lovely place in elounda. i ve been to many places around the world but i ve never been to one like this. Where should i start??? The people were amazing!!very friendly, made us part of the family.the views of the apartments were stunning.we stayed at the front block which like the owners said was the old part, but like i said was really good.the new apartments looked even better with much nicer views!!!very clean and had everything we really needed.they have a small kitchenet and fridge and many pots and pans which made it easy for us to cook.when we were boored we just went up at the pool bar and had nice meals there as well!!!the bbq night is a must, with traditional greek food,a lot of drinks and even more greek dancing.we shall definately come back!!!!!

“Excellent value for money, great location and wonderful views.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011 via mobile

We went to Tasmania village for the first time in July.

Its in a great location, 20minute walk to the town, and the views from the pool area are absolutely fantastic.

The appartments are basic but very clean and tidy, the pool area was lovely and quiet and you could always get a sunbed. The barfood was great and the service was friendly.

Overall its excellent value for money with a great location, gorgeous views and friendly staff.

“could do better”

having read the reviews on here before booking we were looking forward to a family run feeling and a great bbq night... we were disappointed. On arrival Ann didn't even say hello properly just gave us the key to the room and basically grunted at us, no information about cleaning, safe, air con was offered and when we asked it seemed like a bother. We also wanted to find out where is good for shopping and meals and was told to 'just try a few places'. Personally I wouldn't eat at the car either unless you like really cheap tasteless food and a hostile reception. When we asked about the bbq night we were told she was to tired to sort it out.
Also the beds are single (and are like sleeping on wood) and definitely can't sleep up to 3 ppl, the kitchen is very basic with no microwave, kettle, grill or oven just a hob, fridge and sink which made self catering hard work.
I know there have a lot of repeat customers coming to stay year after year however would i stay there again? No way not even if it was free.

VERY basic - wonderful views (depending on room) - absolutely nothing provided (no kettle!) - air con cost 40 euro per week - no information available on site re history/resturants/tours etc. Not recommended.

Room Tip: do not accept ground floor

“A loveley family atmosphere and a week enjoyed by all”

We came back to Tasmania Village after calling in during a stay in Crete at the 5 Star Peninsular All Suites resort. Maria, George, Anna and Manoli were just as we had remembered them 15 years before. The accommodation has been updated and was clean and comfortable with views that a 5 star hotel would struggle to better.
Joined by my sister in law and their children and my husband, we all had a wonderful time on the beach, sightseeing and around the clean and safe pool area. Anna cooked us some loveley lunches and the pool bar is ideal for a glass of cool beer or wine in the shade. Elounda is a 20 minute walk from Tasmania but the pavements and lighting make it very safe. We have booked to return again in October for another week!
