Loved the food, great choice and everything we ate was perfectly cooked. Lovely view from our balcony but be warned that the climb to the hotel reception and then to the rooms are very steep, we were really puffing and we were only on the 300's definitely wouldn't have made it any higher. You can take the lift to 2nd floor which we did but still had a steep incline to room after. Rooms were ok nice size but have heard they are updating the rooms this winter, we used a room on 200's on last night to have a shower and had a really lovely power shower in that room.
We really cant praise the food enough, it really was lovely and the waiters were really nice and friendly.

My girlfriend and I holidayed here in mid July for two sun soaked weeks. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, clean and very well maintained with stunning views over the bay, especially from the pool area and dinning terrace. The food was exceptional with a wide selection to suit all tastes at both breakfast and dinner! The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating; from enquiries to booking tickets, they were very helpful right up to our airport connection when leaving. A special thanks to the duty manager and to the world’s friendliest barman Nektarios! who kept us glued to the bar on many a evening! Make sure you visit the bar; the drinks are good and he’s well worth you tips! To get to the nearest town Elounda was a 20-minute walk, which in the heat of the day few may find a little long, but the views across the bay are stunning and you soon forget that you just showered for nothing :)There’s plenty of place nearby to visit, a happy train into the mountains, and numerous excursions to go on around crete. Make sure you get out on the bay in one of the kayaks, well worth a go! If you want an amazing holiday and exceptional value for money then book the Elounda Blue Bay!!!

The only disadvantage in this hotel is it's being kind of steep to reach, yet it's being on the slope is also it's big advantage!
The rooms are simple and clean, and the view to the bay is breathtaking!!!
The pool is nice, so are the little pools attached to some types of the rooms. The people running the place are very friendly, and the food- the best I had in Greece!! Someone really made an effort to please the guests!
Families with little kids will enjoy a small playground, which is very convenient.

I would surely recommend this hotel to others, keeping in mind that elderly people might find the climbing within the hotel area a bit rough.

Just returned from a week on holiday at this hotel and found it perfect-the views, the food the staff-exceptional value for money ! We read all the reports beforehand and managed to secure a low level room to avoid the steep hill-tennis courts are at the very top if your interested.Nice mini market for needy purchases but 20min walk into Elounda otherwise or short bus ride if you prefer.
