We stayed here for 5 nights recently. Having also stayed in 5 other hotels all over Crete and other Greek islands, the rooms here are quite average, but ours came with a nice balcony with plants and bougainvillea flowers. The shower, like most showers we encountered in budget hotels in Greece, are made exactly to fit one person, and you can't move or maneuver without hitting a wall or a shower curtain.
We had trouble with our ATM card one day and used the phone in the room to call an international toll free number. Our phone call lasted about 10 minutes and they tried to charge us 70 euros, which was the price of a room for one night! They ended up bringing down the charge to 35 euros, but still, that is a ridiculous price.
Also, if we weren't out of our rooms by noon each day, the housekeeper would scowl at us outside our room, tapping her foot impatiently until we'd leave. After the first morning, it actually stressed me out so much that I would set my alarm clock earlier just to not inconvenience the housekeeper - when you're on vacation, you should be allowed to wake up whenever you want.
