three of us (friends) spent a week here and fell in love with it. (I cried when we left!) The ambience was delightful, owner/staff kind and obliging, cats cute... plus Hania down the road. We are no longer friends and I am not well, but I cannot recommend M K too highly!!

I have just returned from a week at Metohi Kindelis and truly cannot recommend it enough! We stayed in Kynthia which was beautifully decorated and had everything you need, included a re-stocked fridge every day with the most delicious fresh produce. The pool area was amazing, totally secluded with it's own kitchen and bathroom which was fantastic. Manolis and his staff were all so welcoming and lovely, doing anything to help - including recommending wonderful restaurants, organising taxis and Manolis even driving us into town himself - but whilst not encroaching on our privacy. The location is beautiful, completely remote but still within easy reach of the town of chania. We loved this place, they totally made our holiday and I would definitely go back, in fact I wish I was still there!

We stayed three days there and the villa was very nice and cozy. Swimmingpool was not heated but they are not heeted in any other places in May anyway in Crete..Our kids loved the cats and they had a huge area to play and have fun.
The only thing we were disappointed at was the staff - as other people wrote they were terrific. We didn´t feel that way becouse we hardly saw them. We didn´t have any kind of welcoming. That was something we would loved to have!

The place is self-catering and you will have all the organic fruits on your fridge. On the first day we had a nice bottle of white wine but after that they only put food on the fridge. We would have appreciated another wine as the price of the villa is quite high.

After all, nice place but the people was missing this time...

Believe all you read on here. Traffic noise not really an issue. Bed comfy, fresh food daily is unbelievable and animals friendly! Closeness to road means town and touring is easy if you want it but quite frankly who would. If it is R&R you are after, you couldn't choose better.
