We hit upon this hotel by chance while visiting Delphi and Galaxedi. it turns out we were the only guests since it was out of season. The room was huge, with a large balcony and bathroom. We had the whole hotel to ourselves except for the hotel keeper ( Bettie ) and the bar -tender. Breakfast was fare, typical for Greece. I gathered that the hotel fills up in June and throughout the summer. It is within a stones through of the sea, and quite close to Galexidi,, although I would not advise driving in this village of narrow streets. We used this hotel to explore Delphi and surrounding regions. it did not have an internet, and would only take cash. However we enjoyed the hotel so much that we stayed three nights.

We booked our holiday in January 2007 for October 2007. Four days before travelling the owner of the Villa Olympia caused our holiday to be cancelled through our booking agent because he said he did not want foreigners going to his resort, preferring to keep the complex for Greeks. We would urge non Greeks to take care when considering this villa for a holiday destination as we have been left with no holiday. The owner would only consider accepting us if we could speak Greek (which we do) and if we could prove ownership as an RCI member (which we could do but is none of his business). We love Greece and its people but do not like the dishonourable practices of the owner of the Villa Olympia.
