I stayed in this hotel with my wife in our honeymoon last year. As we took a long flight from Hong Kong to Athens, when we arrived Argo Hotel, we just slept for a few hours before took the dinner. We had to take ferry to Mykonos in next morning. Argo Hotel is a good choice as they provide free shuttle bus to the pier. The hotel is a small and basic one. Although the rooms are not large, they are quite clean. Considering its price, it's really a good choice if you need to catch ferry the next day!

For 1 night it was perfect. Close to ferry, room was cute. My advise would be to stay here great for the price just buy your ferry ticket prior to the day of travel so you can take the highspeed.

This hotel did exactly what we wanted. We stayed one night as stop off for our trip to Paros. It's close to the ferry (5 minutes walk) and in the centre of the town. The room was small & clean and had a separate bathroom.
The hotel staff were very helpful. We had some great tips from the manager which saved us a load of trouble when getting on the ferry. He also gave us some good info on the town.
We really couldn't ask for more.

We arrived at night after the airport bus dropped us off at the docks. Piraeus is in a shocking state, it felt like we were behind enemy lines in a warzone. Dim streetlamps, cracked pavements, abandoned buildings scrawled with graffiti, everything buried under a thick coating of grime...yuck. We had a map and it was maybe a 3-minute walk down deathly quiet streets from the bus stop.

Our room decor was dated, A/C cost extra and the door to the loo was a plastic concertina partition. Everything was clean, TV reception was fine and we had a balcony overlooking the church next door, who needs an alarm clock?

The bed was comfy, bedding was clean, but the walls were as thin as newspapers. We could hear our neighbours talking. They weren't shouting, just talking. Good thing we always take earplugs.
