We chose this hotel because we had stayed in the past in a hotel of the same chain. The elevators and rooms were too small, when I asked to be moved to a larger room, they moved me in a same room with different furniture. There is not enough light in the rooms and the bathrooms are too small. A/C was not working so it was too hot and too humid. The most dissappointing part was the breakfast, the food quality was terrible and nobody was there to replace finished food on trays or to clean your table. If you go there at 9:30 you will not find anything, coffee was terrible and undrinkable. The surrounding area around the hotel is really dangerous and you cannot walk alone at night. The day before we were supposed to leave, I went to settle the bill. I never got a receipt for the bar and restaurant charges. As a result, the next day, they asked for 50 euro more, and they were not able to tell me what the money was asked for. I did not consume anything in that night and the money was paid witout knowing what I was paying. Again no receipt. The most scandalous thing that happened, was when an outside friend came to visit us in the room, reception asked simply if they needed a key to get in the room!! Our friend did not even advise our name, just room number! Anybody can get in your room by simply asking the room key at reception!!! This as you understand, can be very dangerous in that area.

This hotel was excellent value and even offered half-price restaurant meals while we were staying. It has a beautiful roof-top restaurant as well as a mezzanine breakfast room. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety to suit all tastes, including eggs and bacon. Our room had a balcony and looked across to the Acropolis. The internet was available at a cost and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the location. If you don't want to use the underground it is a long walk to the Plaka markets and other sites.

The hotel is quite close to metro station.. less than a minute walk!
The receptionists are quite friendly and helpful.. btw its much cheaper if you just get a taxi at the front of the hotel rather than ask a hotel staff to call a taxi for you.. there are taxis 24 hours.. I saw lots of taxis just outside the hotels at 4-5 am.
My friend took a cab from airport to the hotel for less than 30 Euros, while it costed me 50 Euros to go to the airport from hotel (I asked the staff to arrange a taxi for me at 4:30)
However, the room is quite small but its not a big deal ! I was there only a night.
I love the roof top bar ! the view is fastastic and the weather was very nice!
I'll def stay at this hotel again if I go to Athens..

the room was clean. Staff was very helpfull, friendly and polite. Location of hotel is near to metro station. Breakfast buffet is quite good for 3 star hotel.
Room with acropolis view is noisy (head to street)
