Great hotel not to far from the centre. Very friendly staff especially the manager. Fantastic service. We stayed a here four nights. The evening before we left we asked them to arrange a taxi for the next morning because we had an early flight. It was no problem to have breakfast at 4:30 in the morning. The room was clean with TV and air-conditioning. The bathroom was a bit small. The whole hotel was nicely decorated with paintings.

I had booked at Filoxenia Hotel, but, when I arrived there, they simply moved me to Hotel Roy. Staff here was very friendly and helpful, but the room was very small and had a window which couldn't be closed and and had no ventilation at all, opening in some kind of chimmey. The bathroom was extremely small and the door couldn't be closed. The blanket on the bed had some strange spots...

We were supposed to stay at Filoxenia Hotel but as they had electrical problems were moved to Hotel Roy. This is a very basic hotel but it was bright & clean and the bed was comfortable. Toiletries were excellent a nail file and sewing kit were also supplied. The lift was small carrying a maximum of 2 people or 1 person and 1 bag. Breakfast was basic continental breakfast. The area where the hotel was situated was rather seedy but we did not encounter any problems. This was a stopover for us as we were travelling to the Greek Islands. I would stay there again on an overnight stay but for any length of time would look for something in a nicer area.

I had to go to athens for a meeting, i stayed at Roy Hotel for 4 days. The hotel is quite clean, the rooms clean and tidy, with tv, aircontidion, wc, etc. The breakfast included was nice, and the manager as well as the other clerks were very friendly and helpfull.
For a short or a long stay the hotel is quite good, especially if you have to be near center.
A thing that really impressed me was that the hotel had all over nice paintings.When i asked the manager told me that all this staff was from very well known greek artists. It was really nice, like an art hotel or so...

Small, but clean and everything worked. Both the manager and desk clerk were friendly and helpful. Cold buffet breakfast included was good. The location was good and a sign on the main street VERY helpful. Metro about 4 blocks away. Also lots of restaurants, shops and a very pretty little park. I would recommend it to people on a budget who are looking for a good value for their money!
