We were sent to the Katerina after an overbooking at a different hotel, the staff at the katerina were aware of this and even though we arrived at 10am they looked after our bags and asked if we would like to have breakfast.
The location is ok, it's not the nicest area to stay, but it is definately ok, lot's of local restaurants nearby, it is very close to the Metaxourghio Metro station, so very easy to get around from.
There are 2 lifts, and a nice breakfast room on the 1st floor, the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were ok a bit on the small side, some have balconies. There was also a fridge, and cable tv. the bathroom was good, a fantastic shower, hairdryer.
The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, but the staff were really good, overall a pleasant experience.
