It's largely my fault because I wanted the cheapest hotel available but really i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Better to pay a bit more and have some quality.
Hotel smelt of cigarettes from the reception to the rooms.
The first room we got (triple) had three single beds, it was not nice at all. I went back down and complained and the next day he gave us another room on higher floor with a balcony. It was a bit more decent but still very bad (we had to keep the balcony door open because the AC would not work).
Worse thing about this hotel is the bathroom. There is just a tap and a shower head, in a tiny room with sink and toilet. No curtains or anything to stop the water from going EVERYWHERE. We stayed for two nights and couldn't have a proper shower the whole time.
"Buffet breakfast" was toasted cheese and ham sandwiches and sweet bread.
Good point about the hotel -if it would sway you- is that is is an a great location. Just a 5 min walk from Metaxourghio (red line) station which is close to everything you'd want to see in Athens.
