The hotel is very close to public transportation with easy access to/from the airport and (as far as I can tell) right in the heart of downtown Athens. The staff members were friendly and helpful and the service in general was fine, although I wasn't crazy about turning my room key in every time I left the hotel. The internet worked without a hitch, the breakfast was not luxurious but was more than adequate, the bathroom was fit for purpose although the bathroom and room in general were not quite as sparkly/pristine as some travelers may have come to expect from newer, chain-style hotels. I'm used to traveling in Europe, though, so it didn't really bother me, although I was having a bit of trouble keeping the bathroom floor from getting wet from the shower - admittedly, that could be user error.
I stayed in an inexpensive room for one person, so there was only a shower (no bath) and the small balcony (admittedly, this seemed somewhat dirty) faced another street and other apartments so there was no view. There was noise at night from the restaurants/cafes below. It didn't bother me because I was plenty tired at the end of the day after my adventures, but it is something to think about. However, If you're looking for a budget stay in the heart of Athens, you won't go wrong with this hotel.
