Only 200 m. from Syntagma Square and within easy stroll of the sights.
All the staff were very helpful and cheerful.
Breakfast was more than adequate but if you need it , good old Mcdonalds is nearby.!!!!!!!
Our room was spacious ,clean and comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Pan Hotel as a one-night transit in Athens, based on its prime location - steps away from Syntagma Sq. The X95 bus goes between here and the international airport. The front desk was very friendly and helpful with touristic information, despite my check-in at an insane hour (3am). The room I got was on the top floor (8th?) and it was clean and spacious, even with a tiny balcony where one can see a corner of the Syntagma Sq. and the Parliament Bldg. The bed was OK comfy. It was chilly that night and I could not figure out how to work the A/C remote (... it's just me...). The room amenities were simple and somewhat out-dated; the bathroom was narrow and small, with shabby shower facilities. The next morning during my shower, the water was only lukewarm throughout - very unpleasant. The hotel serves continental breakfast in the lobby and frankly that's something I could do without. I stayed at the Airotel Parthenon a few days later, whose breakfast bar puts this one at Pan to shame. Anyway, again, for location convenience, this is an OK hotel; otherwise, nicer hotels abound in/near Plaka.

We have been in Pan Hotel during 2 nights in August 2011. We were travelling through Peloponnese with our kids (8 and 4 y.o.).
The hotel is very close to Place Syntagma and at a walking distance from Acropolis and all wonderful sightseeings in Athens: this is the really value of Pan Hotel. It is very simple but clean. We had a 4-beds room with air conditioning and we liked it. Breakfast is simple but good. Nearby there is a parking for cars (18 euros per day), many shops, metro stop and all facilities. We booked it on booking.com and we had a great price/quality opportunity.

Great hotel, 24 hours reception, close to bus for airport and metro, lots of great places to eat nearby, quiet and very safe. Free wifi (though a bit slow?!?) adequate breakfast. Room was large clean and a balcony with free aircon. Great value would use again
