“Good Hotel and very Central (Great Service)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

My husband and I stayed at Jason Prime for 4 days. The hotel is located downtown Athens which is not considered a very good area. Of course for us was very central and we did not find any difficulties as the staff advised us of everything we need to know about the area or people.
It was a very convenient area as we had a wedding to attend which was close to the hotel. It worked out very well. We walked to Omonia each morning without any issues or delays.
We recommend this hotel for its service, rooms cleanliness and amazing breakfast. The price was acceptable and reasonable.
The reception staff were very accommodating and hospitable. We will definetly go back to stay at this hotel or its sister hotels (Adrian, King Jason, Jason Inn) on our next trip to Greece.

“Area is bad- hotel is adequate for one night”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

We stayed here for one night only, thank goodness. The area is as bad as the reviews state. When on vacation I am trying to get away from all the bad news on television and in the world. Here, you step out on your balcony and can't help but feel sad at the sight. Let's just say, yes, there are drug addicts and "other things" going on. The hotel is not in a convenient location for dining or shopping. I would never walk outside the hotel, except to hop in a taxi. The room was clean enough for one night. The shower and bath adequate. We only stayed one night and headed for our cruise the next day. Sadly, I would not feel comfortable recommending or staying here again.

“Nice breakfast and standard room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

We stayed this hotel for 2 nights and it has no elevator.
Rooms are not bad.
Double room is two-bed together, carpet on the floor.
Shower water is good but no late than 11pm.
The most exciting is the breakfast.
Very delicious and variety of choices.

“Hotel good, area bad...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2011

So I'm in the hotel writing this. So far today I've seen countless junkies but, to be fair, not all of them have been in the act of shooting up; that was yesterday. I have, however, stepped over numerous hypodermics that litter the streets around the Omonoia area-avoid wearing flip-flops if you intend to stay around here. It does feel edgy like others have mentioned but we haven't been bothered by anyone.

The hotel itself is nice. It's clean and there is breakfast but nothing amazing. The transport links are near and reach across the whole city, so that's all good because you won't want to spend any time around here!

I'm currently on the 5th floor and there are no views to speak of. Lots of dealers, drunks and users litter the streets below our balcony which make for interesting viewing, though.

It's a good hotel at a good price but I wouldn't stay here again purely because of where it is. Throw some more money at it and stay nearer the Acropolis or Syntagma. It'll be worth every penny...
