“cheap and close to center, but dangerous at night”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

Obviously, there is nothing to add. 20 euro per night is a good price, especially, when the hotel is in the city center. For me it was a base for city trip, so I've arrived there at night. Omonia square is famous to be dangerous at night, and I've experienced evil looks from homeless, drug addicts, simply drunk and street thiefs.
Hotel is fine - you can come 24 hours a day. Room is small, but rather clean. It is little noisy outside, but not dramatically.

“room was clean, but the area was AWFUL”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2010

I went to this hotel with my sister, we are both female in our mid 20's. I arrived at this hotel with very very very low expectations, because of reading other reviews. i was expecting a dirty room in a hotel in a druggy infested alleyway. the room was clean but the alleyway was indeed full of people on drugs, men urinating in the street then trying to chat you up. it wasnt pleasant to say the least.

The room itself was suprisingly clean. to say it was lovely would be lying, but it was bearable. there was a good fan to deal with the heat of the athens day. Breakfast was pure rubbish... there was stale bread and jam, and some weak juice or water. it was amazingly terrible. and we paid 8euros for that!

i wouldnt book this hotel if yo have a choice, but if you have already booked dont panik like i did, it is just about bearable!

large building right beside this hotel is some kind of hostel for drug addicts. street full of drug additcs-i saw 3 unconscious people in the street in only a few hours. numerous others walking around doped up, dealinga nd openly using drugs. my ten yearold son was so upset by it all (he was worried about his safety) that we promptly checked out.

“budget hotel, central location”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2010

I stayed 3 times in this hotel
Why ?
Because is very cheap.....
Situated in central Athens...
Good connection to the Airport, Piraeus Port and Main bus Terminal to Greece...

Hotel is Old.
Without view, Without extra service.....but......staff was fine, breakfast was continental
(bread, butter, cheese, jam, tea or coffee, orange nektar - not juice)

First time, I spent 27 Eur /night / single room
Second time, I spent 32 Eur /night/ single room

Price = Quality

What is true ?
Omonia area isnt nice, but not dagerous....

If you need cheap hotel, with central location for short stay...It´s fine adress.

“ATTENTION SUSTAINED FLEA BITES FROM THIS HOTEL”

Dreadful place - Sustained flea bites from room - surly staff who suddenly develop lack of understanding when asked awkward questions - outside area populated by drug addicts and prostitutes night and day. Do not stay here.
