We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our stay in Athens. I knew this was just an average hotel, but that's all we needed at the time.

The location is great-steps from the Metro at Syntagma square and walking distance to the Acropolis and most of the sights. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast was great.

However, I would only recommend staying at this hotel if you're planning on being out most of the time. Even though the hotel was clean, it was run down, old, the rooms were dark & gloomy and the double beds were two twin beds pushed together to make a double bed. It was loud at night due to its location and the windows were not very well sound-insulated. Thankfully I had brought my earplugs.

But if you are planning on being out a lot and mainly use the hotel for its free breakfast and to sleep, you're at the right place. It's relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the area.

Very basic, no frills type of hotel, was moderately clean, staff were helpful enough. Really good location. Defs won't be back though.

We stayed in this nice, clean and very central hotel in April this year and we couldnt have been luckier as we arrived the taxi driver announced we were just steps away from Parliament, boutiques and take away shops and that wasnt all...if you walk down the street you'll find the nice restaurants, markets etc
We never got lost as the hotel was very easy to find and while we were there the rooms were getting renovated. The only thing I would complain about were the school kids staying at the hotel and running up and down the stairs but I wont as it was a small hiccup that went away as soon as I left the door for sighseeing. Affordable hotel and you get what you pay for.

This was our first stop in our Greece vacation. Was concerned when I arrived on the street, but soon found out that the location was amazing. Very close to the square, Plaka, Acropolis and entertainment, restaurants. Felt very safe and enjoyed walking in the area.
The staff we very friendly, helpful, assisted well with wake up calls on time when we needed them.

Now the hard part...this hotel needs major work. Doors not closing properly without being slammed, electrical outlets that were falling out of the wall. . Bathrooms needed major repairs. If you tried to plug in an iron, be sure , you might have to sacrifice TV time. With that said, the hotel was quite clean.

Breakfast...awful...stale bread, no variety, and staff smoking in the kitchen around the food.....not good!!

Unfortunately, wouldn't stay here again without major renos and better breakfast.
