The staff was incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions when we needed help. The hotel is located on an outdoor shopping street and surrounded by high end stores and restaurants. If you want about 5-8 minutes, though, you reach the more touristy area around the Acropolis and can find cheaper eats and souvenirs. Along the main road there were many chocolate shops which had our mouths watering as we walked. The metro is only a 5 minute walk away and as long as nothing is going on in Syntagma Square, it is easy to get to. There is free internet in the rooms. The shower was amazing with good hot water and great water pressure and a full tub and shower.
The only reason not to stay here is if you are worried about protests in Syntagma Square. Most protests are not violent and to leave we actually ended up walking through one without any problems. However, be aware that strikes happen and protests happen, and you will be close to it all.
Also, if the view is extremely important to you, note that our balcony view was just of the back of a building. But we did not stay here for the view.
