Second time I've been here, and I will come back.
The hotel is extremely well located in Plaka, 5 minutes from Syntagma square and in a pedestrian street.
It's an ils building, with all the pros and cons you can imagine. Bathrooms are clean although you have to come out of the room.
Breakfast is Ok, again, for the price pain. They even prepared us some pasta at 5am in the morning the day of the Athens Classic Marathon.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They try their Best so you feel confortable. ;-)

We booked Hotel Acropolis House 2 months before arriving. Upon arrival we were told that due to the Athens marathon, we had to give up our two superior rooms and stay in a family room on the fourth and last night of our stay before flying home the following day. Rooms were very old and not well maintained, very noisy and not good for sleeping. Breakfast mediocre. Very central location close to everything. Disappointing overall.

Room tip: Don't stay here.

A very traditional hotel conveniently situated for exploring the old part of the city and close to some very good restaurants .Very good value and efficient and friendly staff .
An adequate continental breakfast . I have stayed many times and will be back again soon I hoppe

Room tip: Top at the back to get a view of the Acropolis but I always have a ground floor for accessability

Staff is great, we had a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. Easy to find, I highly recommend!
Good hearty breakfast, price was good, also. Everything is close by, good restaurants, shopping, and best of all, pedestrian only streets nearby.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a balcony facing the Acroplis

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Acropolis House. Good points: the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful; it is very close to the Acropolis and other sights; it is full of character, if a little shabby. Not so good points: our room was noisy - even though the hotel is on a pedestrian only street, nearby streets make it noisy, particularly motor bikes and loud voices; the mattress was uncomfortable - too hard and quite creaky! The bread at breakfast was not good. More fruit and better quality fruit juice would be much appreciated.
