We really enjoyed our three nights at the Acropolis Select! The hotel is incredibly well-located, literally minutes from the area of Plaka around the Acropolis; our first view of the Acropolis at night was breath-taking. The rooms are clean, well-heated, and of a generous size by European standards. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious--cheeses and cold-cut meats; fried, scrambled, and hard-boiled eggs; fruit and Greek yogurt; coffee, tea, and juice; many different kinds of breads...etc...The staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful, with great suggestions of where to eat in the neighborhood.

The hotel is very comfortable, was well-heated in late December, and the breakfast is wonderful. Also, it's in walking distance to the Acropolis and plenty of restaurants and cafes. In fact, we found an exceptional restaurant our first night there. If you turn right out of the hotel, take your first right, the 2nd restaurant on the left is fantastic. I had a lentil dish that is one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere understated but homey, and the food delicious.

Also, the Acropolis Select Hotel staff was endlessly helpful. Also, it's a popular enough hotel that taxi drivers can easily find it. Now we know, however, that it's cheap and easy to get buses from the airport.

The Acropolis Select met our needs perfectly. We will stay there again.

We found this hotel by accident, since we usually stay at a different hotel in Athens, when we are traveling from Northern Greece.

The hotel is great. The rooms are new and the mattress is very comfortable.

The location is safe and a step away from all the main sites.

We would like to thank all of the staff of the hotel, who were always willing to answer our questions.

We would definitely recommend the Acropolis Select Hotel and we are very happy that we have found a home away from home in Athens.
